Fresh Lumpia or Lumpiang Sariwa is a Filipino dish that composed of different vegetables and wraps in a soft and unfried wrapper garnished in a sweet peanut sauce. For me, this recipe is the best version of fresh lumpia from my Kaka Upeng. Very easy to prepare and super yummy especially her sweet style sauce with crushed peanuts.

- 2 cups singkamas (turnips) fine julienne
- 1 cup carrot fine julienne
- 1/2 cup cabbage chiffonade
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 whole head garlic
- 10 pcs lumpia wrapper
Just combines turnips, carrots n cabbage then steamed. Set aside.
Combine water n sugar, stir. Cook, until the sugar, dissolved then add cornstarch to syrupy.
Assemble: Lay the lumpia wrapper, spread garlic, chillie( optional) then sugar brown. Then put the steamed turnips,carrots n cabbage. Wrap it. Add the sauce.
